The Digital Signal Processor (DSP) record voice data obtained by real-time analysis of speech, and it can synthesize the most true voice quality of speech. Toshiba DSP processor analysis speech data possess with high efficiency, and performs low compression rate for realizing higher sound quality.

TC88411CF is the DSP processor design for full-digital telephone answering devices. The LSI integrates all necessary circuits, DSP, controller, ADC, DAC, and analog circuits for speech and telephone interface. The system is configured simply and flexibly for a low cost DTAM solution.

TC88411CF include features of DTMF receiver, VOX function, On-chip 14bit AD/DA converter, analog input amplifier with analog switches, speaker drive amplifiers, build-in Z80 - 8bit CPU main controller and peripheral circuit. And it has serial interface for host CPU, low frequency crystal oscillator, On-chip RC oscillator, and memory interface for flash memory or DRAM/ARAM.

Now TC88411CF supports 2 chips solution for flash memory DTAM system. The Z80's software and voice data (data including guidance menu and caller incoming message) can be stored in 4M-bit multi-propose flash memory.

Toshiba DSP realized a cost effective and flexible flash memory DTAM solution. Customer can update and modify the program and voice data easily by re-install the flash memory.
